Corrosion testing
The department of corrosion and corrosion protection implements a broad spectrum of corrosion testing methods for both aqueous and high-temperature conditions. Classical arrangements; such as three-electrode tests and standardised tests as well as customised specifications and proprietary set-ups developed in-house, belong to the feasible electrochemical testing methods. Moreover, industrial climate cycles can be simulated and evaluated in our climate chamber. In-situ specimen analysis is available for high-temperature corrosion processes in diverse gaseous mixtures and atmospheres.
